FCAT Review Homework 1

SC.7.N.3.1-Recognize and explain the difference between theories and laws and give several examples of scientific theories and the evidence that supports them.

Objectives:
  • Students will explain the difference between theories  and laws. 
  • Students will identify examples of theories and/or laws. 
  • Students will explain why theories may be modified but are rarely discarded.


Assignment 1

  • Students will complete a Laws and Theories Tutorial Students will write answers in their FCAT review folder. Print out the certificate and bring to class.

  • Students will complete every portion except the gravity assignment to review the vocabulary.
  • Students will use agents of Erosion to change Earth's Surface.
  • Students will match weathering/erosion vocabulary terms with their meanings.
